Description

The e-tron is a 2 door, 2 passenger all electric sports car based on the R8. The e-tron's 42.4kW battery pack give it a range of 248 km (154 mi). The e-tron is powered by 4 hub motors with a combined output of 230kW (308 hp), giving it a top speed of top speed 200 km/h (124 mph) and a 0-60mph time of 4.8 seconds. Audi announced in Nov 2009, plans to build road capable prototype in 2010 followed later by full production. Audi has shown two version of the e-tron, one at the Detroit Auto Show and one at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
