Chad, a former mobile software executive and technology evangelist, has spent 20 years bouncing between various forms of alternative transportation: walking, biking, bus, motorcycle, carpool, biodiesel, and hybrids.  He lives in Redmond, Washington, where he organizes events for the Seattle Electric Vehicle Association and spends a great deal of time speaking to the public about electric cars.  He and his wife have both settled in to electric vehicles, and his teens share a plug-in hybrid--all powered by the wind.
