California Regulations Update
California has been the leader in pushing for cleaner cars in the United States. It is the only state that is allowed to create clean-air laws that are stricter than federal laws. Other states have the option of adopting California's laws or the federal ones, so what happens in California has national implications. California passed a slew of regulations and incentives in recent years to reduce greenhouse gases and air pollution that affect the drive toward plug-in vehicles.
