"Moving in the Right Direction?"Google.org Makes $100,000 Grant to Plug In America
The philanthropic arm of Google has announced their new RechargeIT initiative, which provides support to speed the development and adoption of plug-in hybrid vehicles. Grants totaling $1 million were made to six groups to further the development and understanding of plug-in hybrids. Plug In America was granted $100,000 to "raise public awareness and advocate for plug-in transportation."
