We’re gearing up for National Drive Electric Week 2014 September 15-21. Dedicated volunteers and EV advocates are signing up to create events across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
With 11 weeks to go, we have 70 events being planned, compared to 24 at this time last year. As you can see from the graph below, we’re getting more people signing up earlier. It’s going to be an exciting week of EV outreach in September!
It’s looking like we’ll easily beat year’s record-setting 100 events with perhaps 150 events, maybe even 200?

While this is our forth year of running this event (formerly known as National Plug In Day), we at Plug In America have been promoting electric vehicles for over 10 years. Experience shows us that, by far, the most effective tool for getting people to understand the benefits of driving electric, dispell the myths, and drive sales is to let people talk to real EV owners and then let them feel what it’s like, butt-in-seat. Please help up us bring these events to as many people as possible.
