"Friends of Plug In America
Become a Friend of Plug In America and strengthen our advocacy for plug-in cars, trucks and SUVs
powered by cleaner, cheaper, domestically-produced electricity. By
supporting our efforts, you will help give Americans the option of
purchasing electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids, which pollute far less than
other cars and will reduce our dependence on oil.
Plug In America is featured prominently in the Sony Pictures
documentary Who Killed the Electric Car? In grassroots actions, we
saved 1,000 Ford and Toyota electric vehicles from destruction by
automakers. Today we continue to educate the public, negotiate with car
companies, and lobby governmental officials for policies that will get new
plug-in vehicles on the road as soon as possible. Our efforts are making a
difference and moving the auto industry forward.

*Note: Guest speakers are typically Chelsea Sexton or Sherry Boschert. Speakers should be scheduled with a minimum 30 day notice unless otherwise approved, and are for events in the continental US. Standard travel expenses of $2000 are to be provided for by the sponsoring organization.
