Short Description:
There are far more outlets than gas pumps, a point I've often made when talking to people about electric vehicles. This advantage of electric vehicles was made particularly clear on a trip through the islands of Washington and British Columbia.

AB475 Update

AB475 Update
Short Description:
Legislative Director Jay Friedland met with the office of the Governor of California yesterday to discuss AB 475. This issue is still in flux, but Jay has posted a short update. In the meantime, keep writing those letters to the Governor.

Plug In America met with staff in Governor Brown's office yesterday to discuss AB475. It was clear that lobbyists for GM and other stakeholders have been working hard to sway their opinion We were able to educate them not only on why it is important to get this issue right, but also on how it might be done. When you take into account the cost to the state for requiring one charger per plug-in space, the issue becomes much more focused.
